    The old search blocks have been removed. These were extremely slow and did not provide accurate search results. The new user search tool should be used. These have been placed on WAKA Admin, as well as on League and SOP pages.

    Event expectations: This event will benefit The Willow Domestic Violence Center (http://www.willowdvcenter.org/) and Headquarters Counseling Center (http://www.headquarterscounselingcenter.org/) in Lawrence. The Fall Classic will be held on Sunday September 25 beginning at 1 p.m. and ends whenever the tournament is completed, or 11:00 p.m.   The entry fee of the Fall Classic will be $100 per team. We’re looking for a minimum of 8 teams and money will be due Wednesday, September 21st (by 8 p.m.).  This way, we will be able to build a schedule on teams we know will be attending…

    It’s been another terrific summer of kickball, and I want to thank you all for your contributions to the league.  Congratulations to the Star Bar Barracudas for winning the Championship, and a Less-Awesome congratulations to the Ghosts!  It seems that top-to-bottom, the league is stronger than ever, which is largely a result of the enthusiasm of our league’s participants.  Pick-up games were going on as soon as the snow melted, and many people played several times a week throughout the season.  Despite the higher level of competition, the comaraderie around the league remains…
